Sycamore (Year 3)

Sycamore Class

Sycamore is our Year 3 class, for children aged between 7 and 8.

Our class teacher is Mrs Cresswell and our class TAs are Mrs Naseer and Miss Cooper.

On Wednesday afternoons, Mrs Simeone teaches Spanish or music and Miss Cooper teaches PE.

We are operating a one-way system where you drop off your children between 8.35am – 8.40am in the morning using the Willow Gate. Our afternoon pickup is at 3.15pm. Parents wait on the playground by the Y3 corner at the back door. See our class timetable below for which subjects are taught on which days, and see our Curriculum Overview to find out more detail about what we are learning.

PE kit (plain, dark tracksuit bottoms/shorts/leggings, a plain white T shirt, trainers and their school sweatshirt) should be worn to school on Wednesday and Fridays this term.

Please continue to read at home at least three times a week, and practise on Times Table Rock Stars as often as you can. 

Weekly homework (spellings and maths) will be sent home on Thursdays, to be returned by the following Thursday.

Class Dojo monster playing tennis

PE this term is football with Miss Cooper on Wednesday and tag rugby on Friday, so please make sure your child wears their school jumper and PE kit (white t-shirt, red jumper, plain dark shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings, trainers) to school on those days. A hat and suncream may also be needed. If muddy. please bring a change of shoes in a bag.
