After School Clubs at Grove

We run a variety of after school clubs for the children of our school.

These are offered on a first come, first served basis and we ask that you apply via My Child at School (MCAS) app.

Clubs run for Terms 1 and 2, Terms 3 and 4 and Terms 5 and 6.

This means that 3 times per year we ask you to check the MCAS app for clubs.

Our clubs are popular and fill up quickly so do apply as soon as possible.

• We MUST have parental consent for a child to join a club, children cannot stay for a club if they are not on the register.
• If clubs are cancelled (e.g. staff illness, Parents' Evening) you will receive a notification via My Child At School and an email.

Leadership at Grove

At Grove, we believe every child has the potential to lead and make a difference. We offer a wide range of opportunities for pupils to take responsibility, share their voice, and help shape our school community. Leadership helps children develop confidence, teamwork, empathy, and pride in their contribution to school life. Our leaders also support and coordinate work in the local community, actively representing the school in a variety of local events.

Our pupils take on roles such as:

● School Councillors/Eco Councillors – representing pupil voice and driving improvement as well as leading sustainability and environmental action

● Sports Leaders – encouraging active, fair play, lead sports day

● Worship Team - lead weekly Picture News assemblies about current world news and events
